Reading: Luke 15:20-24; Romans 5:6-11
Devotional: The son rehearsed his speech: "I am no longer worthy to be called your son." But the father interrupted him. Before the son could ask to be made a servant, the father was already clothing him in the best robe, placing a ring on his finger, and calling for a celebration. Grace doesn't minimize our sin, but it refuses to let sin have the final word. The father didn't say, "You're right, you're not worthy." Instead, he declared, "This son of mine was dead and is alive again!" Your identity isn't defined by your worst moment or your deepest failure. In Christ, you are beloved, restored, and welcomed home. The shame you carry is no match for the Father's relentless grace. He doesn't just forgive you; He celebrates you, clothes you in righteousness, and restores your place in His family.
